Import drawings
Bring your drawings over from Excalidraw+ or from files on your computer.
From Excalidraw+ (beta)
Open Settings, then Import, and paste an Excalidraw+ API key. Create one in Excalidraw+ under workspace settings. Read access is enough. The key is used for this import only and is not saved.
- Admins bring over scenes and images. Shared collections become folders
in Team. A personal key (starts with
uk-) also brings your private scenes, which go to Private. - Members use a personal key to bring over their private scenes and images. They go to Private. An admin imports the shared collections.
An image that is too large or missing in Excalidraw+ does not come over. The drawing shows a placeholder instead.
From files
Add .excalidraw files from your computer under Settings, then Import.
They go to Private. PNG and SVG exports that include the scene work too.
To put files in a folder or in Team, drop them on it in the sidebar.
